OnePlus to launch OnePlus open 2 next year: Time frame leak
OnePlus is one of the top brands, hardly working toward the foldable segment. The company has dedicatedly launched a new Open series, in which it introduced its first foldable earlier last year. Now leaping for this year, the company will likely introduce the second generation next year as a rebranded version of Oppo Find N5.
OnePlus Open 2 is expected to be in the first half of next year
According to the tipster, Oppo, the parent company, is planning to introduce the Find N5 in the first half of 2025. Most likely to be available between January and June.
Apart from the time frame, the tipster also revealed some specs of the devices. It says that the next foldable will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, aka Snapdragon 8 Elite. For a fresh and stylish edge, the device could be slimmer and more lightweight with a metal frame.
It is worth noticing that the tipster has also hinted that the device will be compatible with the Apple ecosystem, where users will get the compatibility to share photos, videos, and other files between an Android phone and an iPhone with the help of the dedicated feature “share with iPhone”

According to previous rumors on the Internet, the OnePlus Open 2 is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with the capability of 3X optical zoom.
Additionally, it is also expected that the device could be equipped with a dual-cell battery of 2460 mAh + 3105 mAh. Offers the typical capacity of 5700 mAh
