If you are unable to see someone’s story or your messages are going to unread, this is the high time you need to check whether the person has removed you from their friend list, as Snapchat never notifies when someone add or remove you. While Snapchat doesn’t let you know when someone unfriends you, there are a lot of ways to check whether you are still in their friend list or not.
However, the method of knowing if someone has removed you on Snapchat could be a little tricky, as Snapchat does not send any notification alerts regarding you being unfriended by someone, concerning the user’s privacy.
Still, there are plenty of methods, which will help you out, the process of each is described below:
First off, check your My Friends section:
- Enter Snapchat and tap on your Profile icon at the top left corner.

- Under the Friends section, tap on the My Friends tab.

- Here, search for the person whom you doubt can remove you.

- If the person’s name does not appear in the search results, then the person has removed you.

Check for voice and video call buttons:
- Open Snapchat and tap on the Chat icon placed next to the camera icon at the bottom.

- Tap on the name of the person whom you suspect has removed you.

- Now, check for voice and video calling options placed at the top right corner. If both the calling options are visible this means that you are still their friend, while if the calling options are replaced by the Add button, then this means you have been removed by your friend.

There’s a ‘x’ icon in front of the username of the person:
When someone has unfriended or removed you on Snapchat, you will notice a ‘x’ next to the person’s username, which means either the person has removed you from their friend list or you have not yet accepted their friend request.

Check their snap score:
This is another way to know whether someone has removed you on Snapchat:
- In Snapchat, tap on the search icon at the top left corner.

- Type the person’s name in the search bar whom you doubt can remove you.

- Now, tap on their profile picture to check their snap score.

- If you are still their friend, you will be able to see their snap score.

- While if you are removed from their friend list, you will not be able to see their snap score.
