Not so surprisingly, OnePlus is among those brands that have started rolling out the latest June 2024 Android security patch to its models. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is receiving this update, which significantly brings plenty of fixes to the overall system performance.

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is receiving the new June 2024 Android security patch

OnePlus announced that it’s rolling out the new June 2024 Android security update to the Indian variant of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G that lands as the OxygenOS 14-based Android 14 update and carries the CPH2491 14.0.0.520(EX01) official build version while also housing a package installation size of 1.22GB, respectively.

Meanwhile, the new update to the OnePlus Nord 3 carries plenty of fixes, including the fix where the system data occupies too much storage space, the issue where the volume slider in the quick settings and the physical button might not appear simultaneously, and the issue where the NFC-enabled payments are not functional.

The update further adds the ability to choose now to hide the track while unlocking the device using the lock screen pattern, to adjust the volume in the Quick settings, the ability to adjust the size of the floating window by simply dragging its bottom and swiping up to close a mini window and improves the display of the home screen widgets.

On the flip side, being a monthly security patch, the latest June 2024 Android security update introduces several enhancements to the overall system security while optimizing performance and stability to offer users a much more secure, stable, and optimized software experience.
