All Chinese brands including Realme, Xiaomi suspended production in India

According to India Today, affected by the new Coronavirus epidemic, recently, Realme, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Lenovo Motorola, and other Chinese smartphone brands have suspended production in India.

Based on discussions with government officials, Realme, OPPO, and Vivo have announced that the plant will be closed until March 25, and further measures will be taken. Vivo has required its non-factory workers to work from home on Monday.

Xiaomi, India’s largest smartphone brand, also joined the shutdown and said it would follow the Indian government’s lockdown order. Xiaomi India said: “Every facility, including company offices, warehouses, service centers, Xiaomi homes, and manufacturing plants, will comply with the lockdown order. At the same time, we will monitor the situation 24 hours a day.”
