OnePlus will only give OxygenOS 11/ Android 11 update to its Nord phones
OnePlus just launched it’s new budget smartphones under the Nord series, OnePlus Nord N100, and Nord N10. Both devices come with Android 10 out of the box based on OxygenOS 10.5.0.
According to Android Central, report OnePlus confirmed the news, OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 will only be given a single update in their lifespan. That’s shocking, to say the least, especially considering the policy OnePlus holds on the rest of its lineup.
It means the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100 both devices receive a single major update will only bring these phones to Android 11/OxygenOS 11.
The Nord N10 5G and N100 will receive one major Android update and a total of two years of security updates. The plan for these two devices aligns with industry standards for smartphones in more affordable price ranges.
