Android 11 released for OnePlus 6 / 6T: How to install OxygenOS 11 Beta
Oneplus also released Android 11 for its three-year-old device, which is Oneplus 6 and Oneplus 6t. Now it is available in Beta testing. Let’s see the news and the installation procedure together.
The new OxygenOS 11 update for the OnePlus 6t and 6 contains all of the new features that come with OnePlus’s version of Android 11. The update brings Always-on Display, a simplified settings page, new system font with better readability, more customization options, new Zen Mode themes, and a lot more.

How to install OxygenOS 11 Beta
- Download the ROM of the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 based on Android 11.
- Download the Rollback package, in case you want to restore Android 10.
- Go to the System Updates section, select the context menu at the top right and then the Local Update option. Select the ROM you just downloaded and confirm the installation.
- Wait for completion and confirm to restart the smartphone.
The installation procedure described above does not require a reset to the factory data of the devices. The first Open Beta requires manual installation, the subsequent ones will arrive automatically via OTA .
