Realme released March 2022 update for these smartphones -Security Patch & Realme UI 3.0 [March 28th]

Realme has announced it will maintain three years of security patch updates for its devices, but the smartphone may be limited. And the company has started pushing the March 2022 security update for its handful of smartphones. According to Google’s official security bulletin, the patch includes fixes for 19 issues.

At this point in time, it’s not clear what all else Realme owners should expect to find in the March update in terms of new features or changes.

This list will include X series on where the update first debuted and if it is also available in India. As usual, the latest additions will be marked in bold.

Realme 8 Series

Realme 8 series have five devices, Realme 8 4G, Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8i, Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8 5G. All these devices were launched in the global market. And also eligible for the latest security update.

Realme 7 Series

Realme 7i becomes the first smartphone Realme 7 series to get the Android March 2022 security patch update on Realme UI.

Realme C Series

Realme C is the company’s entry-level smartphone series and it has several smartphones. Realme provides the latest OTA update for these smartphones.

Realme X Series

This month’s security update cycle kicked off with the Realme X7 5G – the phone’s launch day – with the patch said to improve the lock screen issue and camera. The patch rolled out more widely, including Chinese variants of the Realme X7.

Realme 9 Series

Realme launched five smartphones under the Realme 9 Series, including Realme 9i, Realme 9 5G, Realme 9 5G SE, Realme 9 Pro 5G, and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. All the smartphones come with decent specs as per their price tag.

Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ come with Android 12 out of the box, but the remaining three phones are running on Android 11.

Realme Narzo Series

One of the core advantages of Realme’s lineup of low-end and mid-range devices, setting them apart from essentially all other affordable Androids but the Google Pixel Narzo-Series, is that they receive updates on a regular basis. This is especially true of the Narzo series, but other affordable options like the Realme number series and C series are no strangers to patches.

Realme GT Series

Realme GT has replaced the X series smartphone, and it has midrange and flagship smartphones, and the company has already launched 2022’s flagship Realme GT 2 Pro in the global market.
