Three out of four companies in the BBK Electronics group have, will have, or will soon have a foldable smartphone in range. Oppo is the only one to have it already, that Find N made official at the end of last year whose marketing is still limited to the home market, the Chinese one, but which we have already had the opportunity to try in preview.
According to the report, OnePlus is ready to launch into the world of folding smartphones: the Chinese company, however, is not working on a “device of its own”, but more on a rebrand of Oppo Find N, an interesting foldable that has never crossed Chinese borders.
OnePlus blocks the refresh rate in some apps on Android 12 (OxygenOS 12)
For the uninitiated, OnePlus and Oppo, as well as Vivo and Realme, are all part of BBK Electronics: it is therefore not the first time that smartphones from these companies are similar (if not identical) to each other. Unfortunately, not much is known about this elusive OnePlus folding smartphone (which will still be very similar to Oppo Find N), and therefore we do not know when it will be launched and if it will ever arrive globally.
BBK Electronics and its companies are actively engaging in folding smartphones: Vivo is also preparing to launch its Vivo X Fold by the end of the month on April 11th.
