Starting in August, OPPO is rolling out the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta update for its eligible flagships to mid-range smartphones in various countries. Today, The OPPO global community has noticed that the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta is now available for F21s Pro 5G users in India, while Reno8 Z 5G owners are in Thailand. More regions are expected to roll out soon in the coming days.
Now, this update is accessible for a limited number of 5,000 users of each device in the above-mentioned regions. Moreover, the application notice for ColorOS 13 is open from today (6th December 2022) to 14th December 2022, and this beta update can be accepted in batches.
The ColorOS 13 beta update brings a new design vision and a host of new features, including Aquamorphic Design theme colors, vibrant theme colors, optimized task management tools, enhanced security and privacy, a new all-way-on screen style, precise visual effects, and more.
Although this beta version is still in the testing stages and is not an official/stable version, it is more stable than the alpha version. Also, this beta version may bring some bugs, and some apps may not be compatible with Android 13, as well as cause overheating, lagging, and fast battery-draining issues on your device.
