Later, recently, the OnePlus community updated the post that mentions a few users faced some issues after the initial rollout. If you still wait for the update to become available, please do not install it to avoid being affected.

Furthermore, the company also said that if you are one of the few affected users, please contact the nearest service centre; the company’s staff will be able to restore your device to its previous state without losing data. Also, the company is very sorry for this inconvenience.

Today the wait for the January 2023 update for the OnePlus 9 series smartphone is Finally over. Recently, the Chinese tech giant is sending a new software update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro devices. 

The new iteration is making its way to the OxygenOS 13 custom skin with some new fixes and improvements, along with the January 2023 security patch for the user interface and security system.

The OnePlus 9/ 9 Pro smartphones are getting a new software update that installs the January 2023 Android security patch to enhance performance. Also the company also fixes various OxygenOS issues to maintain the user experience.

As per the information, OnePlus improves the system security and stability of the OnePlus 9 series with the latest security patch to keep users’ files and data on their phones safe and provide seamless system functionality.

According to the changelog disclosure, the update fixes an issue where a system could fail to create a clone. Also, it solves the auto brightness issue of the device and makes its functioning more efficient. Next, it fixes an issue where UI elements on the Home screen could appear in Quick Glance.

Apart from UI optimization, the new software update improves the stability and reliability of network connections. So, you should install the update as soon as you see a notification on your screen.

In the latest development, the tech maker is sending a January 2023 update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users with the OxygenOS 13 version LE2111_11_F.19 and LE2121_11-F.19, respectively.  

Currently, the update is being rolled out for the respective devices in the Indian markets. However, the company has assured us to push this firmware to more regions via the OTA method soon. In the meantime, let’s find out what the update pack is all about.
