OnePlus has released the May 2023 security update for the OnePlus Nord smartphone, and it comes with several new important patches for the OxygenOS software. The Chinese tech giant has released this upgrade in batches. It may take some time to reach more users in the coming days or weeks.
Moving forward, updates usually improve system security to keep your files and data on your phone safe and away from viruses. Additionally, the optimized system stability ensures smooth performance without any crashes or lagging.
Apart from these, this update now allows you to press and hold both the volume buttons to enable or disable the Talkback feature. TalkBack makes it easy to use your OnePlus phone even when you’re visually impaired or unable to see your phone. This feature just lets you know what’s happening on your phone. With OxygenOS 13.1, OnePlus further added a new feature called TalkBack Description Image feature to recognize and announce images in apps and photos.
