Exclusive: OnePlus 11 OxygenOS 14 beta coming in August!

 OnePlus fans have been waiting patiently to get a taste of OxygenOS 14. The Chinese tech giant has already released the developer beta 1 and version 2 of the Android 14 (OxygenOS 14) iteration for the OnePlus 11 in May or June respectively.

OnePlus might be planning to start August with a bang for OnePlus 11 owners. According to an industry source, the OxygenOS 14 beta program for OnePlus 11 will begin in August, followed by the beta program for the OnePlus 11R and OnePlus 10 Pro.

The company’s beta program may start in the second week of August like last year. For your information, the OnePlus 10 Pro OxygenOS 13 Beta 1 started rolling out on August 09. Now, we have learned that the OxygenOS 14 beta for the OnePlus 11 will start rolling out in mid-August. Other compatible devices will get the beta soon after.

After releasing the Android 14 beta 1  and 2 for OnePlus 11 that the first Oxygen OS 14 beta update may be released as soon as because the Android 14 betas achieve stability with Android 14 Beta 4.1, meaning that OnePlus can now go ahead and launch its OxygenOS 14 beta program.

Based on what we hear, it’s likely that OnePlus will release the first OxygenOS 14 beta build for the OnePlus 11 in August. The beta will gradually be rolled out for other devices as well. The OxygenOS 14 beta launch sometime in August means we are looking at a stable OxygenOS 14 release before the end of this year. If the momentum of the past year is any indication, OnePlus won’t be making us wait more than a few months from beta release to final public release.
