Xiaomi is testing Android 14 on the Xiaomi 13 lineup and Xiaomi 12T and is preparing for the launch of MIUI 15. On the other hand, the Chinese tech giant has also confirmed the first batch of MIUI 15 schedule, which suggests that the Redmi K60 Ultra will be the first device to get the stable Android 14-based MIUI 15 update. A preliminary list has surfaced detailing which older smartphones from the brand will receive the software and which will not. 

As per leaks, rumors, and past records, the upcoming much-awaited MIUI 15 is expected to release in November and will likely bring many new features and optimization. Couple weeks ago, Xiaomi officially announced the MIUI beta program based on Android 14 for Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T smartphone.

Meanwhile, a new report comes on the online platform, which claims that Xiaomi has started the development of the new MIUI 14.1 version for select Xiaomi and Redmi devices, which is set to arrive soon.

MIUI 14.1 is likely based on Android 14, which will be available for a few Xiaomi flagship devices. Other devices that are eligible for the Android 14 update will get it alongside the MIUI 15 version. On the other hand, there are several devices that have been listed with very low chances of getting the MIUI 15 update. While these possibilities still need to be clarified, some reports suggest that these devices may have some limitations or factors that make them less likely to be included in the update rollout.
