In recent times, Google has made several key enhancements to its Photo sharing service, Google Photos. From bringing locked folder backup and ultra HDR format to a New Editor redesign and a newly redesigned Navigation bar, Google Photos is getting better with each upgrade.

Google Photos:

Despite offering a slew of interesting features, Google Photos provides users the capability so that they can easily back up all their photos and videos within the Photos app. This feature works by default as you click a picture, and it gets automatically backed up if you have enabled the Turn on Backup option. However, the quality of the backed-up photos depends upon the settings that you have selected on your smartphone. Google Photos has a free backup limit as well. In other words, you can back up all your photos and videos in Google Photos up to 15GB, and that’s for free.

In addition to the features mentioned above, Google Photos offers several photo and video editing options for you to choose from. You can search for your image using the search feature, create your own album memories, and even share them with your friends and family.

Besides that, opting for backing up all the photos and videos could be a great idea as they can’t get lost from your device even if you have lost your device or accidentally pressed the delete button, or your smartphone is not working properly, whatever might be the reason if you have backed up all your photos in Google Photos, it gets safely saved on your Google account which you have selected while turning on the backup. Plus, you can easily access your photos and videos at any time.

How do you find backed-up photos on Google Photos?

  • Firstly, open your Google Photos app.
  • Tap on your Profile icon or the initial name at the top right.
  • Click on the Photos settings option.
  • Here, you will see the “backing up to your email” if you have already turned on the backup.

Note that there is no such option in Google Photos so that you can view your backed-up photos and videos, but there is a way. Now, if you want to know how you can find backed-up photos on Google Photos:

  • Close your Google Photos app.
  • Then open your web browser, for example, Chrome.
  • Now, in your browser’s search field, type “photos.google.com”.
  • A screen will appear, and you need to tap on the Continue option.
  • Now, sign into your Google account, and you can see all your photos backed up on Google Photos.
