ASUS is on the way with its forthcoming smartphone series, named the ROG Phone 8 series, which will reach the floor on January 16th in China.
To increase the enthusiasm among the fan community, the leaks and rumors are doing their jobs well. The recent reports are revealing high-resolution pictures of the forthcoming ROG smartphone.
ASUS is on the way to introduce its ROG Phone 8 Series which includes two devices – ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. Now the high-res pictures of ROG Phone 8 Pro have come to light. Let’s take a closer look at the images of the smartphone.
As per the images ROG Phone 8 Pro features quite similar design as the base variant ROG Phone 8, excluding some minor tweaks. Recently, we showcased renders of the regular ROG Phone 8, disclosing a square design along with slightly rounded corners, a new camera bump packed with three sensors at the back, and a few colorful RGB lights. Whereas the ROG Phone 8 Pro will have different lights without colors but have special LED dots that can be programmed.
Apart from all these minor tweaks, the rest of the design is the same. Moving on the front side so the ROG Phone 8 Pro has a flat display coupled with a centrally aligned selfie camera. Plus Minimal bezels. At the right side of the panel the smartphone will feature a power button and volume rockers. A USB Type C port is placed on the opposite side.
The noticeable part is, at the bottom side of the smartphone, there is one more USB Type C port, a SIM tray, a headphone jack, and a speaker grille.
ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro Specs:
It is expected that the forthcoming ROG Phone 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung Flexible AMOLED display along with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is expected to power the brand.
Jumping on its camera setup, it is expected that it may include a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra wide angle, and a 32 MP camera with 3x optical zoom, whereas on the flip side, the selfie camera counts 32 MP. The memory package may include up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Moving on to the battery power, it may get 5,500 mAh of battery life along with the support of 65W fast charging technology. And it may run on Android 14 with the ROG UI.
