Soon after the closed beta programs concluded, Huawei began rolling out the latest HarmonyOS 4.0 Public Beta program for several of its devices and smartwatches, including the Huawei P30 and Huawei Mate 20 series, respectively.
Huawei had begun rolling out the new HarmonyOS 4.0 Public Beta program to its numerous devices, including 12 smartphones, the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series, and 5 smartwatches.
The brand says that users can now update their devices to the latest HarmonyOS 4.0 Public Beta version through the Huawei Sports Health app on their respective smartphones. In contrast, Huawei smartwatch users can get the latest version straight from the Settings option.

On the flip side, the new HarmonyOS 4.0 Public Beta program-eligible Huawei smartwatches include:

- Huawei Watch 3 Pro
- Huawei Watch 3 Pro new
- Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro
- Huawei Watch GT 3
Furthermore, the brand has disclosed the release plans of a major version update coming to the Hongmeng system during the Huawei Pocket 2 Fashion Ceremony.
A new HarmonyOS NEXT was introduced within this update, centrally focused on providing an interactive user experience and a much more intuitive ecosystem. This forthcoming HarmonyOS NEXT version update seamlessly integrates with the Hongmeng Kernel and system applications to improve overall performance.
