Samsung has revolutionized its Galaxy ecosystem by introducing some groundbreaking technologies to its users. Similarly, with the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update, the brand has introduced some exciting and advanced AI features, which are named Galaxy AI. which Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy AI is currently reserved for its latest flagship models, the Galaxy S24 lineup. However, later, the brand revealed that the One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI will be rolled out to more selected Galaxy models. With that, the brand has officially confirmed the rolling-out date with other information regarding the latest One UI 6.1 update. 

Samsung’s latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update has arrived with the current Galaxy S24 lineup, which has significantly introduced users to some astonishing AI-powered features known as the Galaxy AI. Samsung has brought up the new Galaxy AI with some impressive capabilities that will offer a much more enhanced user experience. Also, the newest Galaxy AI will offer several convenient features tailored to your experience and preferences. 

As the Galaxy S24 owners are already enjoying these Galaxy AI features, more users will get to experience the latest AI features very soon, which include an all-new way to search, the Circle to Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, AI generative editing, text summaries, and generative wallpapers. 

One UI 6.1 update for eligible Galaxy models:

Samsung officially confirmed that the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI will begin rolling out across the globe to some selected Galaxy models, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5, respectively. 

The schedule and availability for the One UI 6.1 update are currently being rolled out.

Beginning on March 28th, the One UI 6.1 update will be rolled out to both the locked and unlocked versions. Samsung plans to release the One UI 6.1 update to all eligible Galaxy models on locked carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, UScellular, Verizon, and others for the locked version. Meanwhile, the unlocked versions of the Galaxy S23 lineup, including S23 FE, Z Fold 5, and Flip 5, will receive the update starting in April.

On the flip side, other eligible models, like the Wi-Fi versions of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9, will receive the latest One UI 6.1 update starting this week. 

What’s Next?

As previously mentioned, Samsung has confirmed that it will roll out the new One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI to the aforementioned eligible Galaxy models, but the brand has not yet disclosed its plans to roll out the latest One UI 6.1 update to other devices outside of its flagship Galaxy models. In addition, hopefully Samsung could bring the One UI 6.1 update to other eligible models in the future.
