The latest Xiaomi HyperOS brings some monstrous features, and with that, the brand has infused a new feature within the HyperOS update named Beam for Notifications. This is an all-new screen and camera flashing notification feature, allowing users to easily be informed whenever they receive a new notification.
Here’s how to use the Beam for Notifications feature on Xiaomi HyperOS:
This new accessibility feature, named Beam for Notifications, consists of two options, including a camera flash, which blinks the camera flashlight twice. In contrast, secondly, a screen flash that significantly flashes the phone’s screen in the form of a splash of color that you have chosen whenever you receive any new notification. With that, here is how to use the Beam for Notifications feature:
- Go to the Settings app on your phone running on the Xiaomi HyperOS.
- Scroll down and then tap on the Additional Settings tab.
- Select the Accessibility option.
- Now tap on the Hearing option.
- Then, tap on the Beam for Notifications tab.
- Here, you need to choose which option you want to choose from: Camera flash and Screen.
- If you choose the Screen option, you can select from 6 different color hues for your on-screen notifications, including Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Purple.
- You also get the preview option, which allows you to view how both the flash options look when enabled.
