Will The OnePlus Also Have Satellite Connectivity Feature? 

According to Android Authority, the OnePlus 12 may include satellite connectivity after testing the latest Android 15 beta, but it is not confirmed to what extent the company limits these features. It is presumed that this will be limited to China only. 

Apart from OnePlus, we can also see Apple working on this feature, but it may take a lot of time. It is anticipated that Apple will make this feature available with its devices in China and every corner of the world. This seems challenging, but there is a 100% chance it will be possible. On the other hand, there is a high chance that OnePlus will roll out this feature soon. 

This was confirmed by looking at the Settings app on the latest Android 15 beta release on OnePlus 12. Its string mentions OnePlus‘ “satellite mobile phone,” and this string is believed to be part of the satellite fragment of the file. Although it is not clear whether this string is connected to OnePlus’ satellite, it only confirmed the satellite connection. 

OnePlus’ OxygenOS and ColorOS both share the same base, and similar things have been seen before. Similarly, Oppo released the Find X7 Ultra satellite Edition in China a few weeks ago. Following this, we can also see this feature in Oppo along with string after the latest Android 15 beta release in Oppo Find N3. 

There is a prospect that we may soon see smartphones with satellite connectivity in OnePlus. If this feature is rolled out with the latest Android 15, then we will be able to get satellite connectivity support in almost all Smartphones. Hence, it is being said that apart from Google, other OEMs will launch this feature in the Global markets.
