Meanwhile, Xiaomi has officially shared a post that suggests the brand has been experimenting with a new style for the Recent Tasks screen on its phones.

Xiaomi HyperOS took it to X to inform its audience that the brand has been doing feature research regarding the Recent Tasks screen and wants to know how users like to manage their applications within the Recent Tasks screen. The official post states that Xiaomi plans to add a new Pile Up style to the Recent Tasks screen, creating many recently opened/ visited applications.
Basically, Xiaomi wants to know how users like to manage their phone’s recent screen applications while also allowing users to pick their favourite styles from Vertical, Horizontal, and a new Pile Up. Although the first two styles, Vertical and Horizontal, are already present, the company is conducting research to add the third and new Pile Up style within the Phone’s recent tasks screen.
In addition, Xiaomi’s new Pile Up style to manage the Recent Tasks screen apps is currently in its experimenting phase. Meanwhile, it’s possible that the brand will probably add this new Pile Up style in the next HyperOS 2.0 update, which could be released soon.
