OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 8T getting a June 2024 security update, which brings several new features and fixes

Like other Android smartphone brands, the OnePlus is also distributing the latest security update for the June month to its devices. Meanwhile, other devices, including the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T join the list, as they have also started receiving the new June 2024 security update with some new features and more.

OnePlus announced that it’s pushing the latest June 2024 security update to the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T. This new update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro is rolling out in the Indian and European regions, while only the Indian variant of the OnePlus 8T is receiving the latest June 2024 Android security update. The update lands with the official build versions of each device listed below:

  • OnePlus 9-  IN: LE2111_14.0.0.701(EX01) / EU: LE2113_14.0.0.701(EX01)
  • OnePlus 9 Pro- IN: LE2121_14.0.0.701(EX01) / EU: LE2123_14.0.0.701(EX01)
  • OnePlus 8T- IN: KB2001_14.0.0.601(EX01)   

The new June 2024 security update to the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T brings new features with the ability to adjust volume in the Quick Settings. It comes with several fixes that significantly fixes the issue where the home screen as well as the recent task screen overlaps, and also fixes an issue where a corresponding app icon does not respond while closing its home screen widget. 

On the flip side, the new update further improves gaming stability while also fixing the issue where the screen turns black during gaming sessions. Plus, several enhancements to the system security have also been added to enhance the overall system security while also improving the overall system stability to offer a secure and stable software experience.
