After Realme and OnePlus, Nothing is now rolling out a new OS update for its devices. It is rolling out Nothing OS 2.6 for the Nothing Phone 2 and Nothing Phone 2a with mentioning new improvements, changes and features. However, the update also provides an overview of almost all features on the device.
The New features and improvements in the Nothing Phone 2a include several features such as – new support for CMF Watch battery level display in the Quick Settings Bluetooth tile. A new swipeable date widget has also been added to it, Tapping on the left sidebar for Quick access to the game dashboard in the device for improvements in game mode, making it easier to access the game.
Incoming calls during games can now be displayed in a pop-up, and support has also been added to reject third-party app calls during gameplay. The device also has support for one-tap callback after rejecting a call. It also has optimized light notifications to show more information.
Support has also been provided to block notifications during gameplay. Additionally, bug fixing has resolved the issue affecting voice and call recording in WhatsApp. Along with this, the problem of the Atmosphere wallpaper effect disappearing in some scenarios has also been resolved, and a solution has also been found for the issue of overlapping the lock screen display.
The photo preview used to be displayed incorrectly when taken in landscape mode while the device was locked, and this issue has also been fixed. On the other hand, blur in portrait mode in the camera has been improved, and camera stability has been optimized. Moreover, other general bug fixes and experience improvements have been made.
On the other hand, the brand is also rolling out some improvements for Nothing Phone 2, which are quite similar to the Nothing Phone 2a. It gets a big update in bug fixing, Game Mode enhancements, animations, icons, and systems, which makes devices smoother than before, and users do not get any problems via the networks and connections.
