Redmi 13 5G Launched In India With 108MP Samsung ISOCHELL HM6 Primary Camera

Xiaomi has introduced numerous new devices this year in the Indian market, including the Redmi 13 5G smartphone. The handset is also the successor of the Redmi 12 5G. It has a 6.79” FHD+, 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE, and a 108 MP primary camera.

The Redmi 13 5G has a large 6.79-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen also has a center punch-hole design, protected by Corning Gorilla glass, which gives it strength. The device has a dual-camera setup, a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. In contrast, a 13MP camera is available for selfies on the front. 

The Redmi 13 5G uses the Snapdragon 4 gen 2 AE SoC for the chipset and is paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It also has 128 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phone has an Android 14-based HyperOS for the operating system that can provide up to two years of OS updates and up to four years of security updates. 

Under the hood, the Redmi 13 5G packs a 5030 mAh battery that can be charged with 33W fast charging. For other connectivity options, the phone supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Moreover, the Redmi 13 5G also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and bottom-firing loudspeakers. For protection, the Redmi 13 5G consists of a side-mounted sensor.

It also has IP53 water and dust ratings. The Redmi 13 5G has a crystal glass design at the back and Black Diamond, Hawaiian Blue, and Moonstone Silver finish options. It will be available for purchase from July via Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores. The Redmi 13 5G is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 6/128GB model and Rs. 15,499 for the 8GB/128GB variants.
