POCO M6 Plus Launched In India; Knows Software Update Policy, IP Rating, And Other Specifications

Poco has announced its Poco M6 Plus in India. This device includes highly upgraded specifications compared to the M6 Pro 5G. It will come with HyperOS out of the box. The price of this device starts from Rs, 13499 on Flipkart with discount offers upto Rs. 2500 and the handset comes with two storage options. 

Poco M6 Plus Specification And Feature

The Poco M6 Plus 5G uses a dual-tone back panel for the design, which includes a dark color on the top and light colour on the rest of the panel. The handset has an LED Flash unit with two camera sensors at the back. On the front, the Poco M6 Plus 5G has a 6.79-inch LCD display with a resolution of FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which Gorilla Glass protects. 

The device has a power button on the right side and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the smartphone is IP53-certified for dust and water resistance.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 108 MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens, while it also includes a 13MP front-facing selfie camera. Apart from this, it also offers 3x in-sensor zoom and f/1.75 aperture. Camera features include HDR filters, auto night mode and more.

The Poco M6 Plus 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Accelerated Edition processor paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128 GB of internal storage.

In terms of software, it runs on HyperOS based on Android 14. The device gets a six-year upgrade policy in which the 2 Years of Android and 4 Years of Security updates are included.

Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 5030 mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging. The Poco M6 Plus 5G is priced at Rs.13,499 for the 6GB/128GB base variant, and the 8GB/128GB options cost Rs.14,499.

It is offered in three color options: Misty Lavender, Ice Silver, and Graphite Black. The smartphone will be available for sale on Flipkart on August 5, and an instant discount of Rs. 1000 can also be availed on bank offers and offers goes up to Rs. 2500 off.
