Xiaomi 14 Gets Android 15 Update Based On HyperOS 1.1 in Gloabl

Xiaomi 14 was launched in China in November 2023 last year and launched in India in May this year. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC chipset and relies on Android 14 based on HyperOS for software. However, the brand has provided a stable Android 15 update rollout for its Xiaomi 14 in both global and European regions. 

Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 15 series with HyperOS 2 Skin in China. But the brand has not officially rolled out this new operating system in the global market. Android 15 in Xiaomi 14 can be seen with build number OS1.1.4.0.VNCEUXM in Europe while OS1.1.3.0.VNCMIXM for global users. 

This update brings many major changes to the home screen, in which the user will also get better visibility and clarity of a better folder icon. Along with this, the problem of excessive empty space at the top of the screen has been addressed, which has also led to a more efficient and visually attractive layout. 

In addition, the device was also provided with improved stability. The flickering issue in the device has also been addressed, and the problem of the screen flickering during adjustment to the always-on display settings has also been fixed. The device is also able to ensure a seamless user experience. 

The responsiveness and fluidity of the reordering of the app card have been improved, and many types of animations have also been eliminated. The black screenshot issue has also been fixed in this. The update size of Xiaomi 14 is around 127 MB for global users and 125 MB for EEA users.
