OnePlus Watch 2 May Launch In 2024: Report Says

OnePlus is not new to the smartwatch industry, as the brand already introduced its first smartwatch named “OnePlus Watch” in March 2021. Must say the company’s first smartwatch was more of a praise to fitness tracker as compared to a proper smartwatch. Now, recent reports are indicating that OnePlus is planning to announce its next successor smartwatch in 2024. 

If the post on X, formerly Twitter, shared by well-known tipster @MaxJmb, is to be believed, it seems that in 2024, the brand OnePlus will launch the Round smartwatch. He mentioned in the post that;

 “Circle seems to be OnePlus new signature style.” 

“Round… Watch! 😉 Coming 2024!” 

From this statement, it’s pretty clear that the tipster is indicating that OnePlus will announce the next smartwatch, which will appear in a round shade. He stated that the circle seems to be the OnePlus new signature style because the company designed the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 12, OnePlus Pad, and the upcoming OnePlus Open’s Camera in Round shape. He also claimed in another post that; 

“OnePlus Watch 2 will be better 😄” 

However, there is exact information on when the brand will launch its Watch 2. But it is expected that Watch 2 may take the floor around the same time as its predecessor. 

The noticeable fact is that the brand introduced its first smartwatch in March 2021 that was not based on Wear OS. On the other hand, Xiaomi recently launched its smartwatch, which Wear OS powers. So it is expected that this time, the company may feature the upcoming Watch 2 based on Wear OS. 

If the OnePlus Watch could come with the Wear OS operating system, users can easily get access to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Assistant, which helps keep the day on top. While on the other side, for exploring, listening, and health matrix, the users will get Alltrails, Audible, MyFitnessPal, and Peloton applications.
