Oppo Reno 12 Series is Launching on June 18

Last month, Oppo unveiled the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Plus in China, raising expectations that the brand would soon launch the Reno 12 series globally. However, multiple certification websites have spotted the devices, prompting the company to confirm their launch on June 18.
Some rumors have clearly revealed that the Reno 12 series will feature portrait photography, AI LinkBoost, Beacon Link, and a 5000 mAh battery life. We can also get an idea of the device’s specifications based on the China unveiling.
The Reno 12 screen will also have a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 1200 nits, while the Pro variant can have a quad-curved screen or a dual-edge screen. We expect the Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset to power the global versions of the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, while we are currently discussing a different chipset for these models. Experts predict that the Dimensity 8250 and Dimensity 9200+ chipsets will power devices worldwide, with the exception of China.
This series will use LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1, and 12 GB of virtual RAM for storage. This device will support a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W charging. Both phones will run on ColorOS 14.1-based Android 14 and use an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. Other options in the series could include AI-powered photography features, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IR Blaster.
The Reno 12 could feature a 32 MP front camera, while the Pro model could feature a 50 MP. The Reno 12 will have a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS support, an 8 MP, and 2 MP at the back, while the Pro variant will have an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The Pro model will come in a 12/512GB configuration, while the Reno 12 could come in a 12/256GB RAM.
