MediaTek has introduced a game-changer in the mid-range chipset market-the Dimensity 8250. This powerful chipset, designed for devices under Rs. 30,000, boasts a 5G capable processor built on TSMC’s 4nm ultra-efficient architecture. Its standout feature is its prowess in AI-related tasks, making it a top choice for gaming enthusiasts.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8250 is a performance powerhouse. Its octa-core processor, with a maximum clock speed of 3.1 GHz, is a testament to its speed. It features a single Cortex-A78 core, three Cortex-A78 cores with lower clock speeds, and four Cortex-A55 cores, all supported by a 4MB L3 cache. The chipset also includes a Mali-G610 MC6 for the GPU, ensuring smooth graphics performance.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8250 is a game-changer in the world of mobile photography, capable of supporting LPDDR5 RAM at 6400 Mbps speed with UFS 3.1 storage. It includes an APU 580 for AI processing, enabling advanced imaging features. The chipset also supports a primary camera of up to 320 MP, allowing for stunning 4K 60fps video capture with HDR.
This chipset can also handle Full HD+ displays at 120Hz to 180Hz refresh rate and may also include WQHD+ displays. It will also support GPS,BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS Navigation System SA, NSA, and 3CC sub-6Hz 5G network, which will also get download speed up to 4.7 Gbps. Connectivity options are likely to include Wi-Fi 6 E with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3.
Based on these features, this device will give you a better gaming experience. This chipset will be seen in Oppo Reno 12 in the coming days. The phone will be launched first in China and then in other global markets. The Dimensity 8250 is expected to strike a good balance between price, performance, and connectivity.
