Andoroid devices come with a variety of customizations that can be applied to almost all of the elements, including app icons, wallpapers, and battery indicators, as well as in app themes in the form of dark themes. However, some apps doesn’t support the dark themes on their own, so to make themes also go in the dark, Google is working to force dark mode for those applications.

According to the report, Google has introduced a new feature for force dark mode for all the applications which even doesn’t support dark mode. Here with the Android 16 beta 1 there is a new feature called “make more apps dark” on the Pixel devices.

In detail, the feature wil automatically convert light theme apps to dark them if you activate it from the setting. However, the report further claims that the feature was already there with the Android 15, but it was hidden and locatdd in diffrent place.

Now it is apeare under the dark theme option under Display and touch menu via system settings. It is worth noticing that the feature is spotted in the Pixel device fof the testing purpus and expected that the Mountain view giant could expand it to more android devices in the coming days.
