Google Map update brings Now Bar compatible navigation on Galaxy S25

Samsung has introduced a new interective feature Now Bar for its Galaxy devices with One UI 7. The feature offers convenience to track the live activities on lock screen and AOD.

This feature already got available via One UI 7 beta version on Galaxy S24 Series device but due to some limitations, the feature not supporting all the application with live activitis, such as Google Maps.

However, now with the latest Google Map update on Galaxy S25 series, Now Bar is now started supporting live map navigation on the lock screen and AOD in the Nowbar

According to the reports, after the update of Google Maps to version 25.05.01.719889437, the nowbar on the Galaxy S25 series started working on the lock screen and also started to show the notification on the notification panel.

Apart from the Google Maps, Nowbar works on several applications, including Bixby, clock, emergency sharing, Google Maps, Google sports Score, and manu more. However, to get the complete experience, you will need to switch the One UI 7 stable running devices.
