Samsung Galaxy S25 to get seven years of software update

The Galaxy S25 is the next flagship device from Samsung. The device will be equipped with several new high-end specifications and a fresh new design. Along with this, the device will be equipped with a new software update policy of seven years of software support.

Galaxy S25 to get software update till Android 21

Last year, Samsung introduced a seven-year software update policy for the Galaxy S24 series, which let it expand to more devices, including the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. In this policy, the company has promised to introduce seven-year major Android updates and also bring software patch updates for the devices.

Now, after expanding the update policy to more devices, the company is almost confirmed to bring the software policy for Galaxy S25 series devices. Following the policy, the company has confirmed to get Android updates upto Android 21.

With the long years of software update policy, the Galaxy S25 will get benefit of getting more new feature for a longer time and due to this the device will get more resell value for the devices

As far as the Galaxy S25 series release date is concerned, the company will organise the dedicated Galaxy Unpacked event on Jan 22. The event will be organized in California, US.
