CMF Phone 1 is Receiving New Features and Improvements

Nothing released an update for CMF Phone 1 with U2.6-240813-2046 firmware, that adds new highlights and features to the device and is also capable of fixing some issues. Apart from this, the update also includes improved security and privacy in the device. 

CMF Phone 1 Update

According to the Nothing, this is the first update to introduce the community widget for all Nothing community users. It also adds another option to show pedometer and battery widgets on the lock screen. The camera update also improves the overall camera performance. 

However, the refined color accuracy of the device’s back camera has also been improved. The update is also capable of introducing better photo quality in dark areas even when HDR mode is turned on. It enhances the front camera for better face lighting in backlit outdoor scenes. 

The device’s back camera focus for portrait shots has also been stabilized. General improvements include the addition of a stable environment wallpaper effect when returning to the home screen. Switching photos in Google Photos on the device has also been made easier. 

It introduced vibration alerts when answering calls in power-saving mode, fixed system lag issues when taking screenshots in some apps and added data icons and signal bars to the status bar. These changes also improved the device’s animations and smoothness.

How to Update

To install this Nothing update, Open Settings < tap on About < Check for Updates < click on Update and Install. After installation, the device gets new security patches and improvements.
