In a recent post by the developers, it came to light that PUBG New State is going to receive two major updates consecutively in the months of January and February. The January update might also see some hotfixes and major changes regarding the gameplay style and settings. Here is what the devs stated:
“The first batch of major updates will be released in the first two months of 2022, and the details will be revealed at a later date. So keep an eye out for what’s coming! We are also getting a new Battleground ready for Survivors, which will launch in mid-2022.”

PUBG New State January update release date
As far as the December update is concerned, the update was released on 9 December 2021, however, it took about one more week to get the updated version. Hence, players can expect the January update to release by the second week of January, within 15 January 2022.
