PUBG New State launches its first esports tournament: All you need to know
PUBG New State aka New State Mobile is all set to launch its very first national-level esports tournament. But, to several fans’ disappointment, the esports championship will be exclusively held in South Korea. No other teams from other countries will be allowed to participate in this tournament.
The developers announced this in one of their recent social media posts on Twitter. This article shares every detail that players need to know about the first-ever competitive tournament of New State Mobile.

As per the official Twitter post, the devs stated:
“NEW STATE MOBILE OPEN CHALLENGE is our first-ever competitive tournament, set to kick off in Korea. Find out which squad will rule Troi in the fast-paced BR: Extreme Mode!”

As previously stated, the tournament will be exclusive to Korea, and the championship will be live from 15 February 2022. Here is the detailed schedule for the Open Challenge tournament:

Format
Players will need to play in Squads exclusively in the BR Extreme mode. Each match will be for 20 minutes and the winner will be selected on the basis of total points on the leaderboard after all the matches take place.
The prize pool of this tournament is pretty huge as the devs stated that the total prize pool is $250,000.
