OPPO Reno 9 Pro May Feature A Snapdragon 778G Processor
Beginning of the year, OPPO launched its Reno 8 series in China, which includes three smartphones such as Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. This OPPO Reno 8 lineup is equipped with the Dimensity 1300, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and the Dimensity 8100 Max chipsets, respectively. Plus, the Chinese tech giant is now planning to launch the successor of the Reno 8 series, the Reno 9 series.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Reno 9 Pro will have the SM7325 processor, which is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. On the other hand, the blogger claims that the previous generation comes with the SM7450 chip.
Apart from the Snapdragon 7 series chipset, the blogger revealed the Reno 9 series could come with Dimensity 8 series processor and may come with a Red colour option. However, the company has not yet confirmed its packs and launch of the Reno 9 series, but we can expect that the series may be unveiled later this year in China. According to the previous report, the Reno 9 series may come with a 4,500mAh battery, and the series supports the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology’s new charging protocol and Universal Fast Charging Specification.
