OPPO Find X6 Pro 5G Starts Receiving ColorOS 13.1 Update

OPPO has started rolling out the ColorOS 13.1 update for the OPPO Find X6 Pro 5G smartphone. The update, currently available in the China region, brings several improvements and new features to both handsets.

On March 21, the Chinese tech giant unveiled the Find X6 series, its latest flagship smartphone series in China. The series features a new triple main camera system that includes a wide camera with a large 1-inch sensor, an unprecedented periscope telephoto camera and a high-quality ultra-wide camera. The Find X6 series takes smartphone imaging technology from the ‘main camera’ and takes you beyond.  

Based on Android 13, the ColorOS 13.1 update introduces a new auto-connect feature that enables automatic connection between devices such as phones, tablets, and PCs when in close proximity. To improve the gaming experience, the update adds Championship Mode and music playback controls to the game assistant.

In health, this update adds a TalkBack feature that can recognize and announce images in apps and photos. Additionally, there is the Zen Space app, which offers two modes (Deep Zen and Light Zen) to help users focus on the present. Click here for a full update changelog.

Looking at the changelog, the OPPO Find X6 Pro 5G ColorOS 13.1 firmware is rolling out with build number PGEM10_13.1.0.130 (CN01). At the same time, the new upgrade comes with a software package of 1.04GB. It is pretty large and will take up a lot of space on your device.

So, make sure you have enough storage to download the build, and it’s better to use a standard WiFi connection over a regular mobile data pack to complete the process. Otherwise, this may result in a failed update installation.
