OnePlus Revealed The Name “OnePlus Open” For Its Foldable Device

It was reported in the first week of July that OnePlus’s upcoming foldable device would not be named OnePlus V Fold but OnePlus Open, and this news was revealed on Twitter through a tweet by Max Jambor. But today, the company has taken advantage of the opportunity because of Samsung’s unpacked event: its foldable devices are about to release.

Meanwhile, OnePlus, through its official tweet, posted that the upcoming flagship foldable phone will be named “OnePlus Open,” and this will be the company’s very first foldable device. The brand tweeted that “We OPEN when others FOLD.” This clearly shows that one of its foldable will be OnePlus Open.

For the last several days, rumors have been roaming in the air about the first upcoming flagship foldable device of OnePlus. The foldable specification is also rumored to be based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the base variant may be 16 GB.

If rumors are to be believed, the display provided by the company will be 7.8 inches inner with a 6.3-inch outer display as compared to Samsung’s foldable. According to the information, if we gossip about the battery life, it may be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 67W super fast charging support.

According to the rumors so far and on the basis of what the brand has said, this OnePlus Open will arrive in August. But what happens next remains to be seen, but it is highly expected that it will come in August.
