Redmi A4 5G Launched in India with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Chipset

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A4 5G in the Indian markets, and the new device comes with some great specs and features despite being a midrange device. The device aims to provide next-generation connectivity at an affordable price. This new device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is also an attractive option for users. 

Redmi A4 5G Specification and Feature

The screen of the Redmi A4 5G has a 6.88-inch LCD panel, 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The phone is paired with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 for the chipset, which also supports 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. 

Users can also expand the storage of the device up to 1 TB via the microSD card slot. The device packs a large 5,160 mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging. The Redmi A4 5G packs a 50 MP primary camera and a secondary sensor, while for selfies, it has a 5 MP camera.

This model weighs 212.35 grams and measures just 8.22 in thickness. Other notable features include dual SIM support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and FM radio. For software, it features an Android 14 OS-based Xiaomi HyperOS custom skin. 

Redmi A4 5G Price and Availability

The Redmi A4 5G comes in two colors: Sterry black and sparkle purple. Also, it is available in two storage configurations: 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB. It is priced at Rs. 8499 and Rs. 9499, respectively. Xiaomi will start selling the Redmi A4 5G in India from November 27, 2024. It will be available for sale soon on the brand’s official website and Amazon India.
