Redmi A4 5G unveiled at India Mobile Congress 2024

At India Mobile Congress 2024, Xiaomi unveiled its latest budget-friendly Redmi A4 5G smartphone. The smartphone is set to attract a wider audience as it promises to bring 5G connectivity to the masses without compromising on essential features. It will be available with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip at a price of less than Rs.10,000. 

Redmi A4 5G Unveiled Details

According to Redmi, the handset will be launched in India soon, but it has not revealed its official launch date. The device was showcased in Black and White at the event. However, the specifications of the Redmi A4 5G have not been revealed, but it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip. 

This octa-core processor uses Qualcomm’s 4nm process technology and also includes LPDDR4x RAM support. It offers a clock speed of 2GHz. It is capable of supporting 5G modems and RF systems, with download speeds of up to 1Gbps and 5G network connectivity. This device can also get a full HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. 

This device can also support two 13 MP cameras or one 25 MP lens with electronic image stabilization. Other features may include support for dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, dual-frequency GPS and satellite systems. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds with UFS 3.1 storage support.
