How To Enable Do Not Disturb On iOS 17?
If you want to turn on the Do Not Disturb mode on your iPhone to stop or Block visual disturbance, then you can enable or turn on the DND mode using two different methods, which are listed below:
Turning on the Do Not Disturb mode using the Control Center:
The simplest and easiest way to turn on the Do Not Disturb mode is to use the Control Center.
- So, Swipe down the screen from the upper left side and get into the Control Center.
- Here, you will see a Focus Mode option, which has replaced the Do Not Disturb option.
- Either way, you can use the direct way to turn on the Do not disturb mode by simply tapping on the icon that looks like a crescent moon.
- Another way is to tap and hold the Focus button and then select the Do Not Disturb mode from the given list.
- Here, you will also notice different modes available, including Personal, Sleep, Mindfulness, Driving, and work.
- Now, once you have turned on the Do Not Disturb mode or the Focus mode on your iPhone, it will automatically be turned on across all your devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Enabling the Do Not Disturb mode through the Settings app:
Alternatively, you can also turn on the Do Not Disturb mode just by heading to the Settings app, here’s how:
- Go to the Settings app.
- Scroll down, select Focus, and hit the Do Not Disturb option.
- Here, you can edit settings like customize screens, set a schedule, add a filter, and more.
- Do note that turning On the Do Not Disturb mode will drain your battery.

Set a Schedule for Do Not Disturb mode:
If you want to set a schedule:
- Tap the Add Schedule option under the Set a Schedule section on the Do Not Disturb screen.
- Here, you can set a plan for the Do Not Disturb mode accordingly by selecting the desired time slot.
Deleting the Scheduled Do Not Disturb on an iPhone:
- Go to the Settings app.
- Scroll down and then select Focus, and hit the Do Not Disturb option.
- Now tap on your scheduled time slot.
- And finally, select the Delete Schedule.
