Google Rolls Out QPR2 Beta 1 Update For Eligible Pixel Devices

Google introduced QPR1 Beta 2.2 for all eligible devices a couple of days ago. And now the brand is back with another update, QPR2 Beta 1. With this update, it is offering various new improvements and fixes for upgrading the device’s functionality and performance. Let’s take a closer look at this update. 

Google is rolling out Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1, which is built on the updates in the initial release of Android 14 and includes the forthcoming round of refinements, such as bug fixes, new features, changes, improvements, stability & reliability, and performance. The company is delivering this update to all its eligible Pixel devices. 

Here’s The Eligible Pixel Device List To Receive QPR2 Beta 1

  • Pixel 5a
  • Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel Tablet
  • Pixel 8 and 8 Pro

The update has arrived with its own identification build number, which is as follows.

  • For the Pixel 5a device, the update has its version number, which is AP11.231020.013.
  • For Pixel 8 and 8 Pro devices, the update holds its firmware version, AP11.231020.014
  • Apart from these two devices, the rest of the Pixel devices mentioned above are receiving the update with the same version number, which is AP11.231020.013.A1.  

Through this QPR2 Beta 1 update, the brand is fixing all the bugs and known issues; for instance, the issue that caused the package manager to crash while installing some applications, issues which, in particular scenarios, prevented users from submitting feedback using the Android beta feedback application and many more. 

Since the general and known issues get fixed, it leads to an improved and flawless performance. Along with this QPR2 beta 1 update, the brand is also delivering a Google Play Services update with the version number v23.36.14.
