A couple of days ago, Android users came over from the only Lake an iMessage application by Bepper Mini, which is a new application that apparently brings iMessage to Android devices without any need for sign-in with Apple ID credentials, and finally, it is available on Google Play Store.

But here’s the catch: on Friday, Android lost the support of Beeper Mini. Regarding this, the brand Apple has confirmed that as per the protection of its users, it took steps by blocking techniques that exploit fake credentials in order to gain access to iMessage.

The brand Apple has stated that BeeperMini’s techniques pose significant risks to user security and privacy. Now, the first application of Beeper is named “Beeper Cloud”, which works by routing iMessage through a Mac.

Earlier this month, Beeper Mini came into existence on Play Store and helped in exploiting iMessages directly. But now, Beeper Mini on Android has stopped working. Regarding this, Apple particularly cited the potential for metadata exposure and enabling unnecessary messages, spam, and phishing attacks.

Apple also stated that it cannot verify these faux iMessages sent by Beeper are only accessible by the intended sender as well as the recipient or they maintain end-to-end encryption.

Apart from this, it also officially revealed that Apple will continue to make updates in the future to protect the users, along with iOS 17.2 introducing iMessage Contact Key Verification.

However, at the moment of time, Beeper Cloud has been re-enabled, but Beeper Mini is down yet, whereas the brand is working on it.
