Samsung Could Offer Seven Years Of Android Updates For The Galaxy S24 Series
Samsung is this close to announcing its latest flagship, the Galaxy S24 series, on January 17th in San Jose, California.
There are tons of leaks and rumors on the floor, which are revealing more and more regarding the specification, features, and design of the upcoming Galaxy S24 smartphones. The recent reports indicate something new about the software support of the Galaxy S24 series.
If the recent reports are to be believed, it is expected that the brand Samsung could offer seven years of Android updates to the Galaxy S24 series, which includes three smartphones: the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 series runs Android 14 out of the box, which means if Samsung could offer seven years of major OS updates, then it would get up to Android 21. If this turns true, then this will be the most remarkable upgrade ever done to Galaxy smartphones.
However, the Korean giants have not officially revealed any commitment regarding this seven-year Android update report yet. Since Google already allotted seven years of major Android OS updates to its Pixel 8 series, it is highly expected that Samsung could also offer seven years of Android OS updates to the Galaxy S24 series.
