More Galaxy Devices Get the One UI 6.1 Update in India

No doubt, Samsung has always been consistent in providing updates to all of its eligible Galaxy models; that’s what makes the brand retain its top position as one of the leading Android smartphone brands. Meanwhile, shortly after announcing that the latest One UI 6.1 update will be available to more Galaxy devices, the brand has already started rolling out the new firmware update to more of its chosen Galaxy models.

More Galaxy models started receiving the One UI 6.1 update in India:

Samsung began rolling out the latest One UI 6.1 update to more of its eligible Galaxy models. This new build is currently being rolled out in the India region, and it’s expected to reach all the other eligible regions over the next few weeks. In the meantime, the Korean brand has initiated the release of the latest build for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, S21 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Z Fold3, and Z Flip3, with their detectable build versions listed below.

Moreover, the latest One UI 6.1 update for all the aforementioned devices has arrived with several new features and enhancements. Unlike other firmware updates, this latest One UI 6.1 update comes with the April 2024 security patches. Meanwhile, in this update for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the update package is quite large, 2.9GB, assuming the same size for all the other three models. On the flip side, the latest update for the Galaxy S21 has a package size of 2.4GB. 

Here’s what’s new in the One UI 6.1 build:

For the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4, the One UI 6.1 update package size is around 3GB, while the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 have a package installation size of around 2GB, respectively. In contrast, the newest Galaxy One UI 6.1 update brings all the Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4/Flip4, while the Galaxy S21 series models, Galaxy Z Fold3/Flip3, only received the Circle to Search feature along with other relevant enhancements through the latest update. 

In addition, the latest One UI 6.1 build has arrived with the April 2024 security patch that significantly enhances the overall system security and stability, along with other performance optimizations. Thus, it ensures that users should get a much more stable, smooth, secure, and optimized experience.
