With other Android partners, OnePlus has also participated in the latest Android 15 Beta 1 build, allowing users and other app developers to install the newest build for its OnePlus 12 customers. However, this beta version does not completely resemble the features that would be arriving with OxygenOS 15-based Android 15. In contrast, one such feature has been teased recently, the Privacy Watermark, which could probably come on OnePlus models.
The work on the Android 15 build is in full swing. Google is continuously testing and experimenting with new features and functionalities to enhance the entire ecosystem’s experience. Meanwhile, the company has expanded the latest Android 15 Beta 1 build to more Android partners, while OnePlus has also distributed this new update to its flagship OnePlus 12 customers. Now, a new string has been spotted that suggests the existence of an upcoming Privacy Watermark feature.
OnePlus 12 Introduces A New Privacy Watermark Feature Via Android 15 Beta
According to the string code, the new Privacy Watermark feature could be noticed through the Settings app, which will be available on the OnePlus devices via the OnePlus Photos app. This string explains that the new Privacy Watermark feature will add a watermark to the user’s photo that significantly specifies that the image is an official document while also offering users the flexibility to customize the watermark.
In addition, OnePlus is further working on upgrading the Pixelate feature. Currently, users can easily use the Pixelate feature on any part of their image, along with a new Auto Pixelate 2.0 that hides sensitive information from the image. Meanwhile, it appears that OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme owners will also receive the same features with the next Android 15 build.
