Instagram Threads Starts Rolling Out The Tweetdeck-like Multi-Column Layout For Users on Desktop Globally

Meta has been testing the Tweetdeck-like multi-column layout on Threads to offer a more interactive user experience. Instagram head Adam Mosseri confirmed that Threads is starting to roll out globally with the new Tweetdeck-like multi-column layout for Threads users on desktop to offer a more customized and personalized experience.

This latest layout will also allow them to pin their feed on the home screen, which creating-column desktop view that can be customized according to their requirements. In addition, this new layout to threads on the desktop will also allow users to pin their Following feed, For you fYou, Recent notifications, and their posts in the fun side-by-side panel on their desktop’s home screen. 

Moreover, Threads users on the desktop can now see more posts at once, helping them stay updated on what’s happening around them. Meanwhile, the layout keeps all the trending topics and recently searched filters in a more convenient place, thus allowing users to get all the latest news.
