OnePlus has announced that it’s pushing a new software update to the OnePlus 12R units. This new update will significantly help users get an extensive software experience while also fixing certain issues that were occurring within the previous build.

OnePlus is rolling out the new update for the OnePlus 12R units that significantly integrates the May 2024 Android security patch for enhancing the overall system security and lands with the CPH2611_14.0.0.800 (EX01) official build version in the North American region. To recall, the OnePlus 12R has already received the latest update in other regions, including India, Europe, and the Global Region, respectively.

This new update for the OnePlus 12R brings optimizations to the power consumption to extend battery life while also fixing certain issues where the volume from the speaker and Bluetooth earphones might be low, fixes the issue that might cause the home screen wallpaper to flicker after you close an app, and also fixes the display issue where an app icon on the home screen might move slightly from where it should be.
