Gmail is one of the best email services of Google, which is packed with several interesting features, making our everyday task much more easy and effective. Google is constantly making several changes in Gmail to provide better accessibility to the users. Now, Gmail on the web, is providing a simple toolbar UI while reading emails or performing certain tasks in the inbox.
Google is rolling out a new simple toolbar for Gmail on the web, which now makes it easier for the users to focus on their regular tasks. With the new simple toolbar UI, your Gmail’s inbox will now show three options- Archive, Report spam, Delete, Move to, and Mark as unread while also placing other essential options inside the overflow (three dots) menu.
Meanwhile, previously, the advanced toolbar UI consists of options like- Add to Tasks, Snooze, and Labels, while the three dots menu contains Create events, Filter messages like these, Add star, Mark as not important, and Mute options respectively. In contrast, now, tapping on the three dots menu will provide you the Switch to simple toolbar option, which will allow you to switch between simple and advanced toolbar UI in Gmail’s inbox.
Rather than being dense, the new simple toolbar UI could be very helpful when people want to have a fast approach towards their actions taken in Gmail’s inbox. It’s important to highlight that this latest simple toolbar UI is currently rolling out to Gmail on the web, while it’s yet to reach all the accounts.
