Google Wallet Enhances Wear OS App and Adds Website, Gmail Integration

Google constantly strives to stay at the forefront of the digital world by evolving its devices. Google Wallet has facilitated mobile payments and digital finance management so far. Google is set to introduce a significant update to the Google Wallet platform, enhancing functionality specifically for WearOS.

Google Wallet integration

The latest update to Google Wallet will also include Gmail integration and the ability to show passes, websites, and train tickets from the WearOS app. Users can now also receive detailed payment notifications directly in their Gmail inbox. This will make it easier to track purchases, payments, and other financial activities without switching between apps.

The Google Wallet website also includes significant updates that will make it easier for users to manage their wallets from a desktop or laptop. However, some changes will also have to be made to the settings for passes, which will include the facility to open a pass, delete a pass, open it on the phone, and archive it.

Google Wallet now supports VDV eTicket Service Motics and Closed Loop Transit API for secure mobile ticketing in Germany. The feature was made available in only 15 countries in July, but now it is available in 43 countries. Here is the list of the counties:
