NothingOS 2.6 is now rolling out for Nothing Phone (1)

Nothing released a new OS update for its device, phone 1. Nothing OS 2.6 has already been released for Nothing phones 2 and 2a, which includes new improvements, changes, and many features. However, the update also provides an overview of almost all the issues on the device.

Nothing Phone (1) Gets NothingOS 2.6 Update

This new update adds four new wallpapers to the device and supports deleting wallpaper history in Wallpaper Studio. Some improvements have also been made to the game mode. You can now tap on the left game sidebar for quick access to the game dashboard while playing the game, and incoming calls can now be displayed in a pop-up view. 

Support has also been added to reject third-party app calls during gameplay. Light notifications have been optimized to show more information during the game in landscape mode. The feature to block distracting notifications during gameplay has also been added. Support for one-tap callbacks has been added after rejecting a regular call in the device. 

However, the quick recovery mechanism for blocked data network connections has been optimized to improve network stability for bug fixes. It fixes the issue of some carriers being allowed to receive but not outgoing calls. The issue of overlapping the lock screen display in some scenarios has also been resolved. 

Apart from this, another issue has also been fixed: some apps could not properly use the cloned app feature. Security patches until July 2024 have been integrated through this update, which will also have no problem with other general bug fixes, and all formats can work better

How To Update

For installing this, Open settings<Tap on the About<Check for updates<Click on Update and Install. After installing it, you will easily get the new OS updates.
